I think the biggest problem with creativity is giving it space in your brain. Thoughts, especially negative critical thoughts, tend to shut it down and take up the space. The “that’s a stupid idea” crap is like poison gas. As far as asking questions, sometimes I just ask myself why I can’t come up with any questions then riff on that for a bit. But the biggest thing is strangling the idiot “Normy critic” and stomping it into dust….yeah, its been a thing lately
Various podcasts I’ve been listening to have talked about how ideas are such fragile things. You can’t show or talk to anybody about them until they’ve been nurtured. I hope you can find a space to play and let the ideas come out. Lately I’ve made a rule that all my ideas get written down or drawn out, no matter how poorly or incomplete. Then I close the file or sketchbook and look later. Sometimes the idea is good. Sometimes it was good to get out of my head.

One source of creativity is the desire to minimize work. Inventors create new ways of doing less. Cheers to all the lazy people!
You are right! I love coming up with ways to minimize work.
