Old house that was “worked on” by the past owner. So…was removing wallpaper in the bathroom and on the other side (same wall)was the shower, that leaked, and found an open electrical box complete with live uncapped wires. We found lots at that place ( my place once my dad goes) alcohol bottles in the walls, some totally wonky christmas lights hard wired into an outlet…under the tub, yeah . Looking forward to fixing everything when I move in.
Once the problems are fixed, it's a great story. But while you're fixing them, it's a lot of "what were they thinking?!" I've heard two different groups of workmen say "this isn't to code" this month alone!
