Hi everyone! This past week was spent without a kitchen sink for a few days. You don’t realize how much you use your sink until you can’t any more. The good news is that I wasn’t the reason it stopped working (see Sunday’s comic). The bad news is that it cost a chunk of money to remedy the problem (see Wednesday’s comic). At least our basement doesn’t smell like farts anymore. We didn’t realize that it wasn’t supposed to the whole time.
Has anyone else had old house problems? Care to share a particularly memorable project?
A Few Obsessions From This Week
While researching something for D&D, I came across D&D themed candles. Connor and I thought Dispel Magic was pretty funny. Connor commented that if someone had left a terrible “spell” in the bathroom, that would be the ideal candle to light.
I didn’t think Spinal Tap could get funnier, but they did an all bass version of their raunchy classic, “Big Bottom” with an epic intro. I wish I could find the full length version, but it eludes me. If anyone can find it, I’d love a link.

Old house that was “worked on” by the past owner. So…was removing wallpaper in the bathroom and on the other side (same wall)was the shower, that leaked, and found an open electrical box complete with live uncapped wires. We found lots at that place ( my place once my dad goes) alcohol bottles in the walls, some totally wonky christmas lights hard wired into an outlet…under the tub, yeah . Looking forward to fixing everything when I move in.
