Hourly Comic Day 2026
Breaking News Every Hour
Hello Dear Readers,
Last month the annual comic celebration known as “Hourly Comic Day” took place. The idea is that you draw a comic for each hour of the day you are awake. It’s mostly mundane, which has become magical to see since we live in a day and age where everyone pretends their life is interesting all the time and presents it as such.
Recovering from chemo is rather boring business, it turns out. I spent most of the day exhausted on the couch.
A Few Obsessions From This Week
Haven’t got your fill of hourlies yet? Check out 2026 Hourlies by Hallie Bateman, 2026 Hourlies by John Martz, 2026 Hourlies by Savannah Storm, and 2026 Hourlies by Claire Keane.
I’ve joined in hourly comic day every year since 2019. I used to post on instagram, but the last few years have been on substack. Here’s 2024 and 2025.

Audry, I've been thinking about you lots and missing your comics. I'm impressed with anyone who can pull off Hourly Comics Day, but to do it with mom AND chemo brain?! You're amazing.
