A Farewell
Hello dear readers. I had originally planned to share an illustrated story this week, but plans have changed. Over the last month and a half I’ve had some concerning health symptoms and have struggled at times to be taken seriously. This week I finally got a diagnosis; I have an aggressive form of breast cancer. I’ll be spending next week getting a port placed and having additional scans done in preparation for starting chemo the following week.
I’m putting aside everything I have on my plate, including this newsletter, so I can concentrate on getting better. Although I have an aggressive form of cancer, it also is extremely treatable. I hope one day I’ll be able to share stories again. And if not, it’s been a pleasure sharing my comics with you all.
Warmly, Audry
A comic from this year that has turned out to be slightly ironic: I had donated my hair to make wigs for cancer patients.
